Your policy still applies
MFA and conditional access stay where they belong: at your identity provider. Aegis never sees a password and cannot bypass those rules.

Production equipment, AGVs and other IoT gear often sit somewhere without a usable line: a temporary site, a customer floor, a dock. Put a 4G router next to it and Aegis RMS reaches it over your own VPN hub: the router is monitored like any other device, and its equipment is one click away in the dashboard.

The RMS features and the European VPN hub are included with every Aegis licence, from PRO 5 up: no module to buy. What you see here is the optional managed connectivity for sites without a usable line: the 4G SIM with an IoT data plan, in one price. The same Aegis, run by us as a dedicated instance per customer: your own database, your own history, no shared platform and no noisy neighbours. On site all you place is an Edge Monitor Gateway, a compact Teltonika router that dials out to our European hub and carries the monitoring for that location.

FAQ
Is this a real product or a demo environment?
MetaWiFi Aegis is a production product, in use on live networks. The screenshots on this site come from a running appliance. It deploys on-premise in your own environment: ask for a walkthrough and we will show it against a real environment rather than a sandbox.
Does it support both wired and wireless?
Yes. The product flow is explicitly split into dashboard, wireless and wired sections to reflect those operational domains.
Does it support Cisco ACI?
Yes with seamless integration in 3 clicks
Does MetaWiFi Aegis integrate with an alerting tool?
Yes. MetaWiFi Aegis can native forward critical alerts to SIGNL4 for mobile alerting, acknowledgement tracking and escalation workflows.
Does Aegis Cloud work when my site sits behind CGNAT?
Yes. The Edge Monitor Gateway dials out to our hub over an encrypted tunnel and keeps that connection alive; nothing has to be reachable from the internet at your site. Carrier-grade NAT on 4G, a router you do not control, a guest uplink: all fine, as long as outbound traffic to the hub is allowed. That outbound-only design is also why there is no inbound firewall rule to request and no port-forward to maintain.
Do I need a VM or an appliance for Aegis Cloud?
No. We host a dedicated Aegis instance for you, and the only hardware on site is the Edge Monitor Gateway. If you later want the platform in your own datacenter, the on-prem VM runs the same software: your configuration and history move with you.
Does the Edge Monitor Gateway need 4G?
No. 4G is the fallback for sites without a usable line, but the gateway connects just as well over its wired WAN port on the site's own network, and then there is no data bundle to think about. The setup is identical either way.
How does MetaWiFi Aegis compare to Cisco Catalyst Center?
MetaWiFi Aegis and Cisco Catalyst Center serve different primary purposes and can complement each other.
Cisco Catalyst Center is designed for: network deployment (Day 0/1), configuration management and automation and policy enforcement.
MetaWiFi Aegis is designed for: network monitoring (Day 2 operations), operational visibility across wired and wireless, and impact-based troubleshooting.
