This policy explains how MetaWiFi Aegis (MetaWiFi Aegis) processes personal data in connection with this website and the sale of MetaWiFi Aegis licenses. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

2. What we collect and why
- Contact & sales requests — name, email, phone, company and your message, so we can respond to your request. Legal basis: consent / pre-contractual steps.
- Purchases — email address and order details, to process the payment, issue and deliver your license key, and meet our legal (tax) obligations. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation.
- License activation — when the software activates a license it sends a hardware identifier and, optionally, the email/company entered during setup, plus the public IP address of the request, to validate the license and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest and performance of a contract.
3. Payments
Payments are handled by Mollie B.V. as an independent payment service provider. Your payment details are processed by Mollie and are not stored by us. See Mollie’s own privacy statement for details.
4. Processors and third parties
We share data only with service providers that help us run the service, such as our payment provider (Mollie), email delivery (SMTP provider) and hosting. These act as our processors under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
We keep order and invoicing data for as long as required by law (in the Netherlands, up to 7 years for tax records). Contact-form data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. Cookies
This site uses only a strictly-necessary session cookie for the admin area; it is not used for tracking or advertising. No consent banner is required for strictly-necessary cookies.
