1. Who we are
This website and the MetaWiFi Aegis software and appliances are provided by MetaWiFi Aegis, trading as MetaWiFi Aegis.
2. Products and services
We sell time-limited software licenses for the MetaWiFi Aegis network-monitoring platform, and optionally physical appliances pre-installed with the software. A free 30-day trial license is available. Paid licenses are sold per monitored-device tier (PRO 5 to PRO 1500) in two forms: a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it, and a yearly licence bought once for twelve months, which does not renew by itself.
2a. Monthly subscription and direct debit
On the monthly plan, your first payment by iDEAL also authorises us, through Mollie B.V., to collect the following months by SEPA direct debit from the account you paid with. Each collection is for the same amount, stated at checkout and on every invoice, and covers one month of licence.
There is no minimum term and no notice period. You can cancel at any time through the personal link in your subscription email, which stops all further collections immediately; your licence remains valid until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund the running month on cancellation. You keep the statutory right to request a refund of a direct debit from your own bank within eight weeks of collection.
If a collection fails, Mollie may retry it. Where payment for a new period is not received, the licence expires at the end of the paid period plus a short grace period, and the subscription may be suspended or ended.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are stated in euro (EUR) and exclude 21% Dutch VAT (BTW), which is added on the invoice where applicable. The price charged is the price shown at the moment of purchase. We reserve the right to change prices for future orders.
4. Ordering and payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment service provider Mollie B.V. We currently accept iDEAL, and SEPA direct debit for the recurring collections of a monthly subscription. After your payment is confirmed, your license key is generated automatically and sent to the email address you provided at checkout. If you do not receive your key, contact us and we will resend it.
5. Delivery
Licenses are delivered electronically (digital delivery) by email, normally within minutes of a successful payment. Physical appliances are delivered separately according to the timeline agreed in your quote.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Your rights to cancel or obtain a refund are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. License use
A license grants the right to run MetaWiFi Aegis for the purchased monitored-device tier and term. Licenses must not be resold, shared or used beyond their tier limits. We may deactivate a license that is used in breach of these terms.
Use of the software itself, including the virtual and physical appliance, is governed by the End User License Agreement, which you accept when you install or activate the software. It forms part of these terms.
8. Warranty and liability
The software is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that purchase. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
